I walked through the desert to the mountains
I arrived and looked at the past
Thinking of days and nights I asked “what is time?”
The mountain then asked “Where are you?”
And I realized I wasn’t.
And never then had been.

The mountain makes the man think of where he is geologically. and at that point he realizes the only way to explain where he is, is to say where hes not. Thus all places become here if your vision is large enough. The man realizes the mountain had given him his answer about time. Time is only now. the great void called future where nothing exists, but everything comes from. the past which is only a repercussion in the now.

ah yes, the creation of Bryan's infatuation with the picture of his lady friend and your poetic tongue. I love the imagery here, the symbolicness of it all. Really my only thing is I'd like to see it extended upon, to hear the rest of the story.
I may just have to do that. Write a sequel. hmmmmm.... but if you read the artist comments you can see how the mans problem is most definitely answered.

no answer comes without another question. it is mankinds journey for knowledge that makes him go forward. but, if we are not humans then why ask for the closure of this story. dont write the end. continue it till the illusions the man seeks are broken.
Now... "Just a candle between two dark spots"...
